Mortal remains of General Domingo Antonio Sifontes arrive in Anzoátegui

This Sunday, the mortal remains of General Domingo Antonio Sifontes arrived in the Independencia municipality, Anzoátegui state, as part of the caravan that is going to the National Pantheon, in Caracas.

The remains were handed over to the mayor of the Independencia municipality, Hernán Rodríguez, from the hands of the governor of the state of Bolivar, Ángel Marcano. The caravan will go to the Cantaura municipality, where corresponding honors will be performed. Then, the tour will continue to Miranda state to finally reach the National Pantheon in Caracas.

The caravan transfer will continue to Cantaura, Anzoátegui state, the birthplace of General Sifontes, to continue moving to Miranda state, where he will receive corresponding honors in Plaza Bolívar, with the presence of Governor Héctor Rodríguez.

On Monday the 8th, the remains of General Sifontes will arrive at the Military Academy of the Bolivarian Army, where he will be honored in the Burning Chapel, and on Tuesday, January 9, when it will be 112 years since its planting, the caravan will end with its passage through the National Assembly, then it will enter the National Pantheon.
