Multiple injuries leave shooting at a mall in Florida USA

The Ocala Police Department in Florida, USA, confirmed that several people were injured during a shooting inside a shopping mall in Ocala.

Authorities confirmed to local media that at least two people were shot, one in the head, when a shooting broke out inside the Paddock Mall on Saturday afternoon. They say the gunman fled the scene.

The incident is no longer considered an active shooter situation. The mall was evacuated and people were asked to avoid the area while emergency crews arrived.
