Museum of Modern Art will pay homage to visual artist Jesús Soto 19 years after his planting

The Museum of Modern Art will pay homage to the plastic artist Jesús Soto 19 years after his planting in his hometown, Ciudad Bolívar, Bolivar state.

The program will begin with “Cultural Sunday in El Soto”, the first of this 2024. Under the title “Remembering Maestro Soto by Strings”, the memory of the Bolivarian artist will be commemorated. At 11 in the morning there will be a special activity in the Museum Hall.

As a closing, the event will include a guitar performance - one of Maestro Soto's passions - by Maestro René Castillo, professor of the guitar chair named after the illustrious teacher José Luis Lara.

Through a press release, the regional government indicated that the days are achieved thanks to the joint work with the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture and the Territorial Polytechnic University of the Bolivar State (UPT).
