National Executive announces the creation of the Superintendency for Mining Activity

During the enactment of the Mining Law, the president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, asked the authorities of the sector to create the National Superintendency of Mining Activity (SUNAMIN).

This institution was established in the new Venezuelan Organic Mining Law approved in April of this year and is the autonomous entity responsible for regulating, supervising, controlling and managing taxes in the mining sector.

He specified that his objective is to organize the activity, promote investments under new associative forms and oversee the entire value chain.
