The National Library inaugurated in its
Hugo Chávez room the exhibition “Heritage of Faith and Hope: Footprints of Dr. José
Gregorio Hernández”, with the purpose of showing the life, work and legacy of one of

The general director of the
National Library of Venezuela, Jorge Barrueta, explained that this historic exhibition
seeks a way to promote that spirit of research, “because its

Hernández is an example of humanity. “Our Saint left us the teaching of
good values, necessary at this time, which shows selfless service to others
, empathy, and love, which we must review and put into practice,” he said.
The exhibition has around 74 pieces that
display the cultural record and printed treasures about the legacy left by the Doctor
of the Poor, as part of an enrichment of Venezuelan badge in
history that invites research and the acquisition of knowledge.
In addition, general texts such as

prepared by Hernández for his students at the Central University of
Venezuela (UCV), where one of them was autographed by this scientist
committed to the development of knowledge. Both works have QR
