National Public Health System remains alert to a new variant of Covid-19

The National Public Health System maintains epidemiological surveillance throughout the country in the face of the appearance, in various nations of the world, of the new variant JN.1 (Pirola) of Covid-19.

In this regard, as reported by the Ministry of Health in its X account, the holder of the health portfolio, Magaly Gutierrez, held a meeting with the Covid-19 Therapeutic Committee in order to keep an alert for the appearance of this new variant.
