Nicaragua and Honduras honor Bolivar on the 205th anniversary of Central American Independence

‎Las embassies of Nicaragua and Honduras, through a wreath ceremony to the Liberator Simon Bolivar, in the National Pantheon, commemorated this Tuesday in Caracas the 205th Anniversary of the Independence of Central America.

‎El protocol act, which strengthens the ties of friendship between both nations and Venezuela, was chaired by the ambassador of the Republic of Nicaragua, Deysi Torres Bosques; and the chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Honduras, José Andrades Alvarado, accompanied by the Deputy Minister for Latin America of the Foreign Ministry, Mauricio Rodríguez; the executive secretary of ALBA, Rander Peña, and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the country.

‎El September 15, 1821, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica ended Spanish colonial rule. This date represents a momentous moment in contemporary history and constitutes an opportunity to reaffirm respect and national identity.

‎

‎ Caracas shares ties of brotherhood and cooperation with Managua in areas of common interest; and Tegucigalpa reaffirms the construction of a multipolar and multicentric world.
