Official report of July 6: Deaths after the earthquake of June 24 amount to 3,535

For this July 6, the number of people killed as a result of the double earthquake of last June 24 rose to 3,535, said the president of the National Assembly (AN), deputy Jorge Rodríguez.

In the official report, published on his Telegram channel, Rodríguez highlighted that the number of injured is 16,740, while the total number of people rescued under the rubble rises to 6,462. 84 temporary camps have been set up.

In the same way, he pointed out that, due to these earthquakes, 17,854 people were left homeless after the collapse of 190 buildings and the damage of another 856. He also reported that the Bolivarian Government has provided care to 86,794 families, while distributing 9,603 tons of food and 8,130 liters of water.

He highlighted that 25 thousand 16 patients have been treated in different health centers. In the country, according to Rodríguez, 4,338 international rescuers remain in the country; 29,567 security personnel deployed; 27,930 volunteers working in disaster areas.

He also explained that from June 24 to date, 1,948 aftershocks of the earthquakes have been recorded.
