Padrino López calls for unity for the defense of the homeland

The Sectorial Vice President of Defense and Sovereignty, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, announced the start of the National Enlistment in all military headquarters and Bolivar squares in the country.

“Without delay, it's time to defend the Homeland. So let's win: People of Venezuela to triumph. Victory awaits us, national unity awaits us,” he said during a press conference.

Padrino López emphasized that this call is an action to strengthen the militia force, while indicating that the registration process will be extended over several weekends to accommodate all citizens who wish to participate.

Padrino López stressed that this initiative represents the historical continuity of Simón Bolívar's Army, which continue to be part of the ongoing preparation for the comprehensive defense of the Republic.

“Our Commander in Chief, Nicolás Maduro, made an appeal to the People of Venezuela without distinction of political and biological positions, it is an issue that is in the middle of the Homeland,” he stressed.
