Padrino López: Organic Law for the Defense of Guiana Esequiba constitutes a sovereign act

The Organic Law for the Defense of Guiana Esequiba, recently approved by the National Assembly, constitutes a sovereign act of defending our legitimate and historic rights over that territory, said Defense Minister G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Through a message published in his X account, the senior military officer rejected Guyana's recent statements regarding the approval of this legal instrument, which was born out of the popular mandate expressed during the referendum approved last December.

“I know that it is very difficult for Guyana to understand the meaning of sovereignty, when it has sadly handed it over to transnational interests and imperialism. Nothing will stop us!” , emphasized Padrino López.
