With the arrival of the forces of the Southern Command, from the United States, to Ecuador, it is intended to continue the work it has been carrying out to attack Venezuela and the Bolivarian Revolution, said Defense Minister, G/J Vladimir Padrino López.
During statements offered on the national channel, he explained that these movements, which are linked to attempts to destabilize Venezuela and assassination plans in the country, are financed by the transnational company Exxon Mobil to try to seize the Essequibo.
“The United States was left with a rock in the shoe after the government of Ecuador removed the Manta base. Now they're going back to that base and to the Galapagos Islands to secure cocaine trafficking to the United States. We look closely at what is happening in the world and we see how everything is woven together, financed by Exxon Mobil, so that once the intentions to assassinate President Nicolás Maduro are fulfilled, we try to go through the Esequibo territory,” he said.
