The Civil Protection Commission (PC) of the Unda municipality (PCAD), in Portuguese, remains deployed in the Chabasquén parish after the heavy rains recorded since eight in the morning, which have caused a significant increase in flow in the Chabasquén and Chabasquencito rivers.

According to the preliminary report published on PC Portuguesa's Instagram social network, he points out, the ravines of the Guardia Command, Los Guedez and La Escuelita 3 are overwhelmed, while Troncal 007, a road that connects with the Peña Blanca parish, remains without passage due to flooding.

So far, a rainfall measurement of 114 millimeters has been recorded, with moderate-intensity rains maintained.

Civil Protection personnel carry out ongoing evaluations at critical points and maintain communication with surrounding communities to activate early warning protocols.

Recommendations to the population:

· Avoid traffic on Troncal 007 and affected rural roads.

· Do not go near the banks of rivers, streams or flooded areas.

· Keep communication devices turned on and attentive to official channels.

· Families located in low-lying areas should have an evacuation plan prepared for any eventuality.

Civil Protection will continue to monitor the evolution of the climate and will issue new reports in the event of any significant change. The community is urged to remain calm and to follow only the instructions of the competent authorities.
