Within the framework of the Venezuela Renace Plan, inspection brigades are deployed in buildings in the city of Caracas, with the purpose of evaluating their effects after the earthquakes of last June 24.

The inspections are carried out using the traffic light method approved by the Venezuelan Foundation for Seismological Research (FUNVISIS), which is used to determine the state of habitability and structural safety of buildings and houses.

According to this method, green means that the structure is secure with access allowed; yellow is restricted access due to partial damage; while red is totally prohibited access due to a high risk of collapse.

It should be noted that this evaluation can be requested by condominium boards or community councils through the VenApp or by going to the tent located on Avenida Bolívar with the details of their homes.

After making the request, a multidisciplinary team is deployed to the site. During the inspection, the specialists complete a form that sends the data in real time to the operations center, allowing the authorities to have an updated mapping of the situation after the earthquakes in Caracas.
