On Thursday morning, Venezuela received a cargo plane from Panama, loaded with supplies for humanitarian assistance to families affected by the double earthquake that occurred in the country on June 24.
The cargo was received by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Latin America, Mauricio Rodríguez, and the Consul of Panama in Venezuela, Susana Thornhill, at the “Simón Bolívar” International Airport, in the state of La Guaira.
This new solidarity aid of 40 tons of canned food comes from Costa Rica, Ecuador and Panama, as part of the international humanitarian assistance sent to Venezuela, following the recent devastating earthquakes.
