The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, asked the president of the National Park Institute (Inparks), Rosinés Chávez, to plant 10 million trees in the year 2026 and achieve this year's goal of reaching 5 million trees planted.
Faced with the environmental movements: Guardians of the Tree, Technical Tables for Recycling and Cleaning, (Metras), the Agrourban Ecological Movement and the Venezuelan Ecological Movement (Meven), the president of Inparks explained that they have been working with national plans for reforestation, in the assemblies of the communes, in strengthening educational and environmental programs, in addition to strengthening programs for the protection of fauna and flora.
“We have done a lot of things this year, but I think that today, on the Bicentennial of the Chuquisaca Decree, our commitment is even greater, not only the institutional commitment, but the commitment of all communities, the commitment of Venezuelans who love their homeland, who loves their mother earth and who knows that they have to defend it and knows how to do it,” said Rosinés Chávez.
The young ecologist warned that for next year the goals are high, “the goals are big, but the preparation, the will and above all, yes, the preparation that we have been strengthening is what I know will allow us to reach those goals, to that goal of 10 million trees by 2026".
In this regard, President Maduro congratulated the president of INPARQUES for the commitment demonstrated, stating that “this youth who stands up with conscience and firm will, and above all I see in the twinkle of their eyes, Rosinés, an unbreakable faith in the homeland and in the victory of our country, under any circumstance, the unwavering faith of our heart that is expressed through our word, our truth, because simply what we are doing is defending the truth of Venezuela, since Bolivar”.
The request was made during the commemoration of the Bicentennial of the Chuquisaca Decree, held in the Vinicio Adames Park, located in the state of Miranda, where the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism also offered an assessment of the Great Mission Mother Earth Venezuela.
