The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros sent a message to the People of Venezuela to celebrate Pentecost this Sunday, May 24.

Then the post, de man, was textual:

Dear people of Venezuela, brothers and sisters of the world: on this Pentecost Sunday, Cilia and I send you an embrace of faith, love and gratitude. Prayer, when born of the strength of true faith, achieves everything we set out to do in family and community. As the Gospel of Matthew says: “Responding, Jesus said to them: 'Truly I tell you: if you have faith and don't hesitate, not only will they do the fig tree, but even if they say to this mountain: Get up and go into the sea, it will happen” (Mt 21:21).
The Gospel of Matthew also points out to us: “Once again I tell you: if two of you agree on earth on any matter you ask, it will be granted to you by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have been gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them” (Mt 18:19-20).

Coherent action is born of that faith that demonstrates its values in daily practice: in living solidarity, in love for all, in helping those who suffer, in respect, in service and in the common good. And, above all, in LA UNIÓN, to consolidate our journey as a country blessed by the Holy Spirit.

On this day of Pentecost, let us ask to receive the light, guidance and blessings of the Holy Spirit, as the apostles received them, for the peace, prosperity and freedom of all of us. May the Holy Spirit blow upon Venezuela and upon the peoples of the world; may he give us wisdom to act, humility to reconcile and strength to move forward. Cilia and I are grateful for so much support, so much prayer and so much solidarity. We are always with you.

CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE BOLIVARIAN REPUBLIC OF VENEZUELA
