The Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, confirmed the will to continue working with the People to guarantee peace and prosperity in the country.

During the 571st broadcast of his program Con el Mazo Dando, he referred to the second phase of the National Pilgrimage for a Venezuela free of sanctions and in peace, which began with his presence in the state of Zulia where he visited several communities in this western Venezuelan entity.

“We come full of strength and energy to continue moving along the path of (Simon) Bolivar and (Hugo) Chávez,” he emphasized while stressing the importance of the unity of all Venezuelans, leaving aside differences.

“Let's put aside the differences (...) and we're going to work and even more so if it's for Venezuela (...) if we have something to banish from this country it's hate,” he invited.

He highlighted the level of organization he observed in the communities he visited in the Zulian entity. “We were in an Assembly with 14 communes that are organized and implementing their projects,” he said.

We trust our young people!

In addition, the also Sectorial Vice President of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace highlighted the commitment demonstrated by patriotic and revolutionary youth at a time when the country demands humility, loyalty and strength.

“We trust you! You young people are the hope of this country, you who love the Homeland,” he said and recalled the trust that Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez always demonstrated with patriotic youth.

Commander Chávez trusted this youth, in you, and we fully trust you, we put our hearts and the Revolution in your hands because we know that the Homeland will not be lost there,” he said and stressed the need to continue organizing in every corner of the country, promoting unity and hope.

Extremists are killing themselves!

In contrast to the spirit of unity that most Venezuelans and young people have to defend the country's peace and prosperity, the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace lamented the spectacle offered by opposition extremism as a result of hate and the surrendering aspirations of its leaders.

“In the opposition, they are killing themselves to generate views while they are being killed,” he said and denounced the scheme promoted by longliners and influencers identified with extremism to take economic advantage of the internal disputes of the leadership of this sector of the opposition.

“They don't care about anything at all. When they fight, it is so that they mention that they are fighting, so that their views increase,” he explained and questioned the fact that these promoters of hate stand up as defenders of freedom of expression as an asset that only journalists and media have.

Freedom of expression belongs to everyone!

Finally, he recalled that, contrary to the position established by media owners and journalists at the service of the interests of political sectors of the world right, freedom of expression is a right that belongs to all human beings.

“Freedom of expression does not belong to the media, but to human beings, who can say what they want and at any time,” he emphasized and confirmed that he will continue to exercise this human right to respond to the baseless attacks that international media are building against their person, against the people and against the country.

“I'm not a journalist, but God made it easy for me to defend myself against attacks, because the bad thing is not the shot, but the one who doesn't reply to it,” he said .
