President Delcy Rodríguez delivered 440 new rehabilitated homes in Caracas

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, delivered 440 rehabilitated homes this Monday in the Ruperto Lugo sector of Caracas, affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.

In the area, the Venezuela Renace Plan impacted three buildings and 219 apartments, directly benefiting 1067 people, as well as 12 houses, where new walls were built, drinking water pipes were repaired, in addition to roof waterproofing, total façade painting, restoration of internal stairs, common areas, parking lots and corridors, among other recovery tasks.

In this place, self-management and collective work were decisive. 112 workers involved and 15 neighbors worked to achieve the recovery of these spaces in record time.

This is the fifth installment of the Venezuela Renace Plan, restoring tranquility, security and joy to families in Caracas who suffered the onslaught of seismic events, with a consolidated total of 1476 fully restored and delivered homes, broken down into 1307 apartments corresponding to 43 buildings and 169 single-family houses for the benefit of more than 5000 people and 1592 families.
