President Delcy Rodríguez praised the growth of relations between Venezuela and Vietnam

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, said goodbye this Monday, at the Miraflores Palace, to the ambassador of the Socialist Republic in Caracas, Vu Trung My, who ends his diplomatic mission after three years in the Latin American nation.

“Today we are firing an ambassador who knew how to strengthen the bonds of friendship, cooperation and closeness between our countries. Not only the relationship from Government to Government, but the relationship between our parliaments and between our parties. And that is something that has helped us expand our relationship,” said the president.

He highlighted the historical relations between Venezuela and Vietnam, stressing that “we have a number of agreements, of which 51 are in force, but we are already negotiating more than three dozen agreements so that, in the Joint Commission that we should hold, we can continue to finance cooperation spaces in energy, agriculture,” he announced.

Rodríguez also highlighted the advances “in the area of rice planting, the rice specimens that have been kept for Venezuela, also in the area of telecommunications, culture, are spaces where countries, our countries, a country in South America and a country in Asia, strengthen relations for the benefit of both peoples.”
