The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, awarded decorations this Saturday to the humanitarian brigades of the United States (USA) that participated in the rescue efforts following the earthquakes that occurred last June 24 in the country.
Along with the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, and the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, the president in charge awarded the Heroes of Venezuela medal to 311 rescuers, and Canine Heroes of Venezuela.
“On behalf of the People of Venezuela and the Venezuelan Government, thank you and happy independence day on its 250th anniversary,” Rodríguez said.
