President (E) Delcy Rodríguez: Every step we are taking is to defend our Homeland

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, called on the People to have confidence in the political leadership of the Revolution, stressing that “every step we are taking is to defend our Homeland”.

“We know what the missiles falling in the hometown of our liberator meant, and our decision was to tell the Government of the United States: we are going to understand each other as countries in this hemisphere. That requires a lot of maturity on our part and a lot of national unity and of knowing that every step we are taking is to defend our homeland, so that no boy or girl will ever experience the terror of that morning again,” he said.

In this regard, he warned of the insistence of extremist sectors on the country's destabilization agenda, calling for the unity of all Venezuelans.

“Those missiles of January 3 arrived at the hands of extremists in Venezuela and were applauded by those who persist in assaulting political power to privatize PDVSA, that would be the hell of our country, that's why I call on the national conscience and assume the program of peaceful and democratic coexistence to settle differences,” said the president in charge.

He stressed that Chavism has a historic program that is that of Simón Bolívar who will defend it, but “we must find paths in participatory and leading democracy to meet again.
