The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, emphasized that in Venezuela there can be no room for any type of conspiracy “neither internal nor external, wherever it comes from.”

“This is a new moment for Venezuela. We have to lay the foundations of a new Republic, definitely seeing the future with a different human being, supportive, with a Venezuelan who is proud of their history, their freedom, their Independence of July 5, 1811,” she said.

He said that “I don't understand how in these moments of pain for Venezuela, of national mourning, there are those who dare to misery, dare to plan social outbursts. Here there will be no social outbreak, here what there is is social solidarity”.

In that direction, during the commemoration of the 2nd 15th Anniversary of Independence and the joint graduation of new officers from the Bolivarian Military University of Venezuela (UMBV), he stated that in the face of the tragedy experienced in the country due to the two recent earthquakes, “he tested us to know where goodness, love and mercy are, but we have also had to see hate, misery”.

He argued that “just as in 1812 when the anti-patriots tried to use the earthquake to attack the young nascent Republic of 1811, so today they intend to attack Venezuelan institutions.”
