President (E) Delcy Rodríguez: Right now there is no room for politics. The call to everyone is to help!

The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, emphasized that right now “there is no space for politics, right now the space is for union.”

“The call to everyone is to help in a coordinated way, for that there is a National Government that coordinates, articulates and directs,” he said.

“My call to all sectors of the country is to unity, it is to unite, right now there is no room for politics,” he reiterated at the Miraflores Palace, during a press conference with international media, to provide an assessment of the earthquakes last Wednesday, June 24.

In this regard, he expressed his gratitude to various “companies around the world that have sent donations, oil companies CONOCO, EXXON, REPSOL have sent donations”.

He also said that evangelical organizations that want to help are welcome, “yesterday I met with Rev. Ramiro Peña from the United States, who has been coordinating aid for evangelical churches; also with Pastor Bertucci, without distinction.”

“Someone from the opposition, who doesn't want me to name him, asked me for support to activate a helicopter company that could help, I did it immediately, after 15 minutes they had the authorization,” he said.
