President (E) Delcy Rodríguez thanks world leaders for solidarity after devastating earthquakes

Expressions of solidarity and support to the People and Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela continue to arrive from many parts of the world after the tragic earthquakes of this Wednesday, June 24.
In this regard, the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, expressed her gratitude to the leaders of the countries and international organizations that have expressed their support in the face of the catastrophe.
The president in charge spoke with His Highness the Emir of the State of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, who expressed their solidarity with Venezuela and their willingness to support rescue efforts.
“The Venezuelan people will always be deeply grateful for this gesture, which is part of the relationship of friendship and brotherhood that unites our nations,” he said.
He also thanked Haitham Al Ghais, Secretary General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), “for his message of solidarity and support in the face of the earthquake emergency in our country. We deeply value this gesture of brotherhood with the Venezuelan people in times of difficulty.”
