The President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, took a tour this Saturday of the temporary camp set up at the Gran Colombia National Educational Unit, in Caracas, where comprehensive assistance is provided to indigenous communities affected by the recent earthquakes.

The space has an infrastructure of 8 buildings, of which three provide shelter and care to 1,190 people, with mechanisms for self-managed coexistence through family spokespersons to ensure order and hygiene, according to a press release from the Presidential Press.

The logistics deployment has a strong component of social and cultural welfare, highlighting the presence of the Venezuelan National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras and Choirs, under the direction of Eduardo Méndez, who offer a musical performance with 42 musicians to raise the morale of those present.

The camp includes 60 volunteers from the Solidarity Brigades, whose objective is to develop a permanent agenda of educational, sports and recreational activities. These efforts have made it possible to provide specialized care to 317 children from various areas of the state of La Guaira, such as Catia la Mar, Camurí Chico, Caribe and Caraballeda, ensuring the necessary support during this emergency phase.
