President (E) Delcy Rodríguez: We haven't closed the search and rescue phase!

The President in charge stressed that these tasks will not cease until the existence of possible survivors is suspected.

During the press conference given to national and international media this Thursday, July 2, the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, emphasized that the National Government is keeping active the search and rescue phase for people in buildings collapsed by the earthquake of last June 24.

“We haven't closed the search and rescue phase, we're still active searching with rescue teams. We have active points where we believe that there are people alive,” he said.

From the Miraflores Palace, the President in charge stressed that these tasks will not cease until the existence of possible survivors is suspected.

“We are not going to rest,” he said.
