The president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, recognized the rescue work of Tsunami, the rescue canine.

Through his Telegram channel, Rodríguez wrote that: “In the midst of the tragedy that Venezuela is experiencing, Tsunami has become a symbol of hope. This brave rescue dog, together with his guide, continues to help save lives in the rubble. Thank you for the nobility and for showing us that every life is worth every effort.”

Tsunsmi's capabilities have allowed it to participate in international rescue missions, such as Türkiye and Syria.

While in the national territory, he cooperated in the rescue of people in Las Tejerías and El Castaño, in the state of Aragua.
