President (E) inspects inventories of international humanitarian aid supplies

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, inspected the inventory of supplies and international humanitarian aid that has arrived in the country after the double earthquake of last Wednesday, June 24.
In this regard, he stressed that 2,000 tons of humanitarian aid have arrived in the country, from 28 countries, “and that through a system and a technological platform it is directed to the camps, so that each country will also be able to know what their aid is being used for.”
Rodríguez highlighted the spirit of solidarity of different countries, which has allowed “Venezuela to feel that it is not alone.”
He added that Venezuela has witnessed “the hand of solidarity at times of great pain and suffering for us”; at the same time he assured that various cooperation mechanisms have been established and the civil protection system that is also active for the distribution of humanitarian aid.”
Finally, he recalled that during a meeting with the United Nations Undersecretary for Humanitarian Affairs, Tom Fletcher, with the intention of establishing mechanisms for recovery.
“The process for the future must be looking at the development of Venezuela, looking at national development,” he concluded.
