President (E) Rodríguez enabled volunteer registration at the Caracas Polyhedron (+ 7:00pm)

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, announced this Friday that a volunteer registration center will be set up at the Caracas Polyhedron, starting at 7:00 at night, in accordance with her expertise and support mechanisms.

“We are going to do voluntary support in an orderly manner, with a credential that will be granted with a QR code, but at this time those who do not have rescue functions or security functions in the state of La Guaira, please refrain from going to the state because they are obstructing traffic,” he said during a telephone contact to Venezolana de Televisión.

He also indicated that coordination efforts are continuing to attend to the events caused by the earthquakes last Wednesday. In addition, he reaffirmed that in the state of La Guaira the internal roads are clear; just as national and international rescuers are also deployed.

In addition, he reaffirmed the decision to militarize the state of La Guaira, with the purpose of being able to effectively serve families.

“We know that we all want to help, but I ask the People of Venezuela to collaborate, it must be done in an orderly manner, that does not disturb or hinder the rescue work, we are in the most critical hours for the rescue of people who may be alive under the rubble,” he said.
