The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, thanked the plenipotentiary National Assembly for the unanimous approval of the Organic Law on Mines.
From his telegram channel, he highlighted that this law is a “fundamental instrument for modernizing, regulating and strengthening mining in our country. This law strengthens legal security, attracts new investments and will boost mineral wealth for the sake of national development.”
He also welcomed the appointment of the Attorney General and the Ombudsman. “I welcome the appointment of Larry Devoe as Attorney General of the Republic, and of Eglée González Lobato as Ombudsman, exercising the powers enshrined in our Constitution. I trust that both responsibilities will be assumed with commitment, high professionalism and in defense of the interest of our Republic,” he said.
