President (E) Rodríguez recognized Chevron's commitment to Venezuela

This Monday, April 13, the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, recognized the company Chevron for maintaining its commitment to Venezuela, regarding the recently signed cooperation agreement.

“Chevron has been in Venezuela for more than a century and has demonstrated, I always say so, commitment to the country. I think Chevron can serve as an example of what a hydrocarbon producer committed to Venezuela has been in the worst moments, in the worst difficulties, they didn't leave and stay in the country,” he said.

He also stressed that, before the signing of this agreement, they continue to show clear signs of continuing to make progress in terms of production.

In addition, he stressed that the revenues derived from this production will directly benefit the people of Venezuela. “And may it be a good shared benefit for the peoples of the United States and Venezuela (...) they went through very difficult times, but we are setting an example that reason is helping us.”
