The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, announced the activation of the Venezuela Renace Plan to address housing and infrastructure impacted by the earthquakes of June 24 and, during a deployment on Bolívar Avenue in Caracas, she stated that the program begins with the simultaneous intervention of twenty buildings while technical teams verify each structure.

“Today we are starting this great deployment of the Venezuela Renace Plan, we are going to attend to all the impacted and affected apartments and buildings,” he said.

Rodríguez indicated that the priority is families who abandoned their homes due to the fear generated by the seismic double and, in this context, explained that the plan brings together public works institutions, local authorities and specialized brigades that work under technical viability criteria. “It's not just about infrastructure, it's also about building the new Venezuelan being based on solidarity and humanity,” he said.

The president in charge explained that the program incorporates a technological platform and a centralized information system to order repair and reconstruction processes and, in addition, recalled that any intervention must comply with technical authorization to avoid future risks. “Venezuela is a seismic country and will continue to be so, so every construction process must have technical viability so as not to put lives at risk,” he said.
