President in Charge announced that international rescuers are already arriving in Venezuela

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that international rescuers are already arriving in Venezuela to attend to the areas most affected by the two earthquakes that hit the country last Wednesday.

“We were very moved to see the flag of the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Mexico, the United States and Switzerland, who have already arrived in our country to lend their hand of solidarity to the people of Venezuela,” he said from ZODI in La Guaira.

He also specified that rescuers are already distributed in the different disaster areas to save lives.

“We have said it from the first minute of the occurrence of this terrible event, to save lives, we are going to the rescue of people who are trapped or boarded up under rubble, in that work we find ourselves relentlessly,” he said.

He assured that no official of the High Political Command, president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez; sectorial vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello; members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), governor and mayor of La Guaira, deployed ministers and ministers, “have not slept a minute since we had the task of rescuing and helping families who are going through very hard hours that do not lose hope of finding their beings alive dear ones”.
