President in Charge announced Venezuela Renace Fund for reconstruction and care after a double earthquake

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced this Saturday the creation of the Venezuela Renace Fund, with the country's money that is blocked in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and other financial entities in the world.

“The fund will be for the reconstruction and recovery of areas affected by the double earthquake. Also the most important thing, the immediate attention of our people, who unfortunately are suffering very deep pain due to the loss of family members, material losses, housing losses,” said the president in charge after a meeting with the Economic Council.

He announced that, in addition, it was established that the funding program will grant a monthly allowance, for the next 6 months, “that allows a permanent income contingency to the most affected people.”
