President in Charge awarded brigade members and rescuers from Central America, Asia, Eurasia and the Caribbean

The president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, awarded the “Canine Heroes of Venezuela” award to international survivors and rescuers from seven nations, in recognition of their outstanding work and high technical capacity demonstrated in the complex search tasks carried out after the seismic events.

This act of recognition exalts the solidarity and deep humanitarian sense of the contingents from El Salvador, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Turkiyé, Cuba and Vietnam deployed in the affected areas of the Venezuelan national geography.

The president imposed medals and letters of thanks to the governments of all these countries, as well as to praise the heroism and high technical preparation of rescuers and canines that participated in the search and rescue work.
