President-in-charge Delcy Rodríguez meets with EU delegation and European External Action Service

This Wednesday, April 15, the president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, met with a high-level delegation from the European Foreign Action Service (EEAS) and the European Union (EU) in Venezuela.
The main objective of the meeting was to discuss strategies to strengthen bilateral cooperation and lay the foundations for a new stage of productive relations.
Present at the meeting, which took place at the Miraflores Palace, were Pelayo Castro, Deputy Director General for the Americas at the EEAS; María Antonia Calvo Puerta, Chargé d'Affaires of the EU in our country, and Adriana Vázquez, Head of the Division for South America. For Venezuela, she accompanied the president in charge of the Deputy Minister for Europe and North America, Oliver Blanco.
The parties discussed key issues of joint work and integration under the principles of mutual respect, respect for sovereignty and constructive dialogue.
