President in charge from La Guaira: We have achieved the recovery of 60% of the electricity service

Early this Saturday morning, taking stock of the situation in the state of La Guaira after the earthquakes that occurred last Wednesday, the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that by this Friday, 60% of the electricity service had been restored in this coastal entity.

“Throughout, we have done work focused on each of the needs to move forward with the recovery of electricity service and today a 60% recovery has already been achieved, and by tomorrow we should make much more progress when we can recover the electric tower that fell on the mountain of La Guaira,” he said.

Regarding water, he indicated that we have also done saturation work in water distribution, while in food matters, distribution continues to be carried out for the Guairense population.

“The primary task is to ensure that there is no need that we are not meeting,” he emphasized while thanking all the security forces, rescuers and volunteers who continue to work in the area.
