As part of her first Official Visit to the Caribbean, the President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, was received by the Governor General of Grenada, Cécile La Grenade, in a meeting that reaffirms the mutual respect and the solid strategic alliance that exists between the two nations.
Along these lines, it is important to stress that the meeting with the Governor General, who acts as Head of State and stands out for being the first woman and scientist to hold that position since 2013, took place under a climate of high cordiality and dialogue that focused on establishing more direct communication channels to strengthen technical and political cooperation in the years to come.
It is worth noting that both nations agree on the aspiration for greater Latin American and Caribbean unity to face global challenges, and a geopolitical stability that directly benefits the quality of life of their citizens.
As part of the strategic alliance, the Venezuelan delegation, composed of Foreign Minister Yván Gil, the Minister of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands, Julio León Heredia, and the Minister of Popular Power for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Carlos Loyo, accompanied the president on this day aimed at deepening strategic relations between the two nations.
