President in Charge visits the “Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán” Technology and Innovation Expo

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, in the framework of the second anniversary of the launch of the Great Science, Technology and Innovation Mission Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán, learned about some of the research and products developed by this program promoted by the Bolivarian Government.

This mission comprehensively articulates institutional, academic and community efforts to position science and technology at the direct service of the people, promoting technological sovereignty in strategic sectors such as agricultural biotechnology, renewable energy, public health, applied artificial intelligence and higher scientific education, all aligned with the Homeland Plan, which guides the socialist productive model based on own knowledge and popular innovation.

The Great Science, Technology and Innovation Mission “Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán” promotes technological and scientific sovereignty. It seeks to apply knowledge to solve national needs through five vertices that cover training, research, infrastructure and the Scientific Seedbeds program.
