The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that there will be no school activities since they will remain suspended throughout the country

“We have made the decision to suspend classes for another week. During this week there will be no school activities throughout the country,” said Rodríguez.

He noted that the measure seeks to ensure safe conditions while rescue operations and the restoration of services continue in affected areas.

Rodríguez explained that the State maintains a permanent deployment in the recovery process of the state of La Guaira.

The president in charge stressed that rescue operations are still active and that during the day it has been possible to recover people alive in different parts of the state. He stressed that specialized teams maintain simultaneous actions in committed structures and areas that are difficult to access.

Rodríguez said that the Government will continue to focus on ensuring immediate care for the population and consolidating the comprehensive recovery of essential services in La Guaira.
