President in Charge: We want to leave our youth a Venezuela free of sanctions

This Wednesday, April 15, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, said that she aspires to continue to materialize the lifting of sanctioning measures against the country, since the goal is to make Venezuela free of sanctions, “it is the Venezuela that we want to leave to our seedbeds, to our youth. A Venezuela free of sanctions”.
The statement was made when referring to the recent lifting of sanctions that the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) carried out against the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) and other financial institutions in the country.
At the event on the occasion of the celebration of the Second Anniversary of the Great Science, Technology and Innovation Mission, “Dr. Humberto Fernández Morán”, stressed that it is a matter of ensuring that Venezuela “can march in freedom, independent, sovereign and that we can enhance the historical legacy of our Liberator Simon Bolivar and guarantee the future.”
“It's about guaranteeing social happiness, the prosperity of Venezuela. We are on that path, it is a hard road, but we are going to achieve it in a national union,” he said.
The president in charge congratulated the Minister of People's Power for Science and Technology (MPPCYT), Gabriela Jiménez, for the excellent organization of the anniversary day of the aforementioned Great Mission. “The work that you and your team have done is truly extraordinary,” he said.
