This Monday, the president of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, presented the social plan to support people in street situations.
In this regard, the president of the Amazon Giant explained that one billion reais (204 million dollars) were allocated for this social plan while denouncing that the responsibility for this situation lies with the State that “has not dedicated itself to caring for the poorest”.
“Princes, queens, presidents and businessmen have already passed through this palace, but it has rarely been opened for the most suffering people to participate,” he emphasized to dozens of people in street situations.
