The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed on Monday his support for all the country's governors and mayors, regardless of their political parties, because they were elected by the people.

During the 88th broadcast of his program Con Maduro+, the head of state recalled the celebration of the most recent session of the Federal Governing Council, where for the first time in history Popular Power participated as the protagonist.

“For the first time, a Federal Government Council is connected to all 49,000 municipal councils in the country, with the country's 5,336 communal circuits. For the first time, a Federal Government Council, established in the Constitution, has Popular Power connected as the main protagonist,” he said.

The Dignitary indicated that this body “manages a lot of resources for investments, projects, and all those resources have been put to order, as is my constitutional duty as head of state, of all mayors and of all governorates.”

In this regard, he stressed that his “commitment is to all governors and governors, mayors and mayors, regardless of the political party to which they belong. They are the mayors, they are the mayors, they are your governors and governors (the People). And after an election, the result is sacred,” he emphasized.
