President Maduro announces an increase in the comprehensive minimum wage indexed to 100 dollars

The president of
the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced this Monday that
starting February 1, the full minimum wage of workers in the
public sector will increase to 100 indexed dollars.
During the presentation
of his Annual Message to the Nation and Delivery of Memory and Account 2023 to the National
Assembly, the head of state explained that the economic war bonus will increase
to 60 dollars, while the basket tickets will increase to 40%,
totaling 100 dollars.
“We will stop, but
we will advance in times of economic war, of blockade, I ask for all the support of
the working class, I ask for the support of the workers, for this effort that I am
making, a titanic effort that we are making,” he said.
