President Maduro: At the UMBV event, I felt the support and respect of cadets, generals and admirals

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, recalled the recent inauguration by the Bolivarian Military University of Venezuela (UMBV), which awarded him the title of Doctor Honoris Causa, due to his strong policies, actions and strategies in defense and security of the nation.

He stated that this recognition represented a profound honor, “I experienced one of the most exciting moments of a long time, because I felt the love, support and respect of the cadets, even the oldest generals and admirals.”

He maintained that he had to give a Master Lesson, “for which I had to study a lot, to be able to live up to the cadets, all that teaching staff and all the officials.”

He said that “there was a perfect synchrony of the soul of those of us who are the patriots who defend Venezuela and we can say that we patriots are much more.”

This is what he expressed during his program “With Maduro on the Way”, via El Junquito, in Caracas, within the framework of Thursday in Communes, where he visited the “Bicentennial Era” Commune, to promote productive development.

She also highlighted the important role of women “women have great leadership today, at the level of society in general. Women are social leaders, community leaders, workers and peasants”.

For his part, the Minister for Communes and Social Movements, Ángel Prado, reported that he visited the state of Lara, in order to complete the projects derived from the Popular Consultation.

Regarding the Popular Consultation held in April 2025, he noted that all of the approved projects are about to be completed, while those of the Popular Youth Consultation are in the process of being implemented.
