President Maduro led General Domingo Antonio Sifontes' arrival at the National Pantheon

This Tuesday, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, led the arrival to the National Pantheon of the Hero of the Fatherland, General Domingo Antonio Sifontes.

Accompanied by the Republic's first female combatant, Cilia Flores de Maduro, the Head of State honors General Sifontes, who assumed the position of Commissioner of Cuyuní and his tributaries, where he founded the town of El Dorado to prepare the troops and the population to defend themselves against English pretensions to position themselves in this gold-rich territory.
