The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,
Nicolás Maduro, urged this Wednesday to strengthen the historical memory of the
Homeland in every space of formation in the country and in the communities.
“We must vindicate collective and historical memory in
our schools, high schools, universities, military academies,
communal councils and in every territory where the People are,” said the head of
state through his account on the social network X.
In this regard, he called for exalting “the struggle of our
Liberators and our Liberators. Let us be proud to belong to
a land full of lights and patriotism! Long live Venezuela!”
As part of this call from the Venezuelan Dignitary, this
Tuesday the remains of General Domingo Antonio Sifontes arrived at the
National Pantheon, as part of the commemoration of 126 years of his passage to
immortality as an example of the struggle for the defense of the territorial integrity of the nation.
