The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, maintained that North American imperialism seeks to impose a forced and violent hegemony to subdue world economies,

This was stated in the Digital Zone segment, in broadcast number 88, of the program Con Maduro+, when referring to the study on the impact of sanctions written by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, before the International Criminal Court (ICC).

In this regard, he considered that “we are in a very complex moment for humanity, because neo-Nazi currents have re-emerged, which seek to destroy international law completely”.

The head of state maintained that the World Trade Organization “has died, out of cowardice. There are no rules of the game in today's economy. That's the reality.”

He also emphasized that “the United Nations and its extensions are mortally wounded every time bombs fall on Palestinian children looking for food.”

In this context, he reported that faced with this regrettable scenario, “we have a line of double action: to denounce the partiality of these organizations and to denounce complicit inaction.”

“We are acting within it, to carry our voice in the hope that they can be reunited in a new global framework,” he said.
