The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, ratified this Tuesday the defense of the historical legacy of the Liberators and Liberators of the Fatherland.

“We all have to see ourselves as militants of a historic cause, as soldiers and soldiers of an army that defends the ideals of a free, independent and sovereign Homeland, to enhance the historical legacy of our heroes and heroines,” said the head of state through his X account.

Last Saturday, the Bolivarian Government began transferring to the National Pantheon the remains of General Domingo Antonio Sifontes, an independence soldier who expelled English troops from Essequiba Guiana. This Tuesday, they will arrive at the Mausoleum in Caracas.

In this regard, the Dignitary emphasized that “Venezuela will continue to work and move forward to vindicate the strength and gallantry of our Liberators!”
