President Maduro: With the Peace Quadrants, we are turning our main cities into safe areas

As part of the achievements in the fourth line of work in 2023, which consisted of consolidating the nation's comprehensive security and guaranteeing justice, President Nicolás Maduro highlighted the strengthening of the doctrines of the Peace Quadrants, which made it possible to achieve the seventh goal of the year, “to turn our main cities in the country into safe areas.”
Maduro said that the goal of being one of the safest countries in Latin America and the Caribbean is being achieved, “and it is being achieved thanks to the Peace Quadrants model, a humanist, constitutionalist and legal model.”
In that regard, he told the
president of Ecuador, Daniel Noboa, that the new factors of crime allied
with the extreme right create chaos in countries, so that the North American empire
enters and occupies it with the Southern Command, “that is a violation of the sovereignty
of South America and that is not the solution.”
“Allowing the Southern Command to take over
the leadership of the military and police forces in Ecuador and establish a military
base again is a historic mistake and does not solve the situation,
” he said.
Maduro, invited President Noboa to talk about successful experiences (Peace Quadrants), “let's talk for me to explain to you or I can send you to the Minister of People's Power for Relations. Interiors, Justice and Peace, Remigio Ceballos, to explain to him what we have done in Venezuela to defeat criminal gangs and guarantee the country's security.”
